To import PDFs from the computer to JKnit on your mobile device, you have to use the Open In... function.

First, you have to make the PDFs accessible from your mobile device. You can do this by either emailing them to yourself or posting them to an online storage service like DropBox (they have a free basic 2GB storage service).

Then, open the email or log into your online storage account using Safari and tap on the PDF file you would like to import into JKnit. Then the PDF will open and you should see an Open In... or a little export button come up on the top bar of the screen (if you don't see it, try tapping the screen once).

Tap on the Open In... button and it will display a list of apps that can handle PDF files and JKnit should be one of them. If you select JKnit in the list, it will open the app and save the PDF file in your JKnit PDF library.
